On the day we visited we couldn't enter the as a wedding was taking place but there is an accurate replica of the chalice in the cathedral museum. The Holy Chalice of Valencia is claimed to be the actual cup used by Christ at the...More

So amazing to see this relic in the cathedral as it was easy to view from behind its glass case. Paired with an audio tour and free entry - it was great.

Well worth the money for a visit. Audio guide is excellent and very interesting. Shown to room with supposedly "Holy Grail" .Very interesting. Museum within the cathedral was also excellent with old ruins, skulls and bones etc.

Valencia Cathedral is architecturally and historically interesting but its claim to shelter the true Holy Grail is another reason to what is, in any event, a 'must see' attraction.

Words can not describe the beaty of this Chapel. My advice is to visit the Cathedral first and then stop at the Chapel for a prayer in front of it´s wonderful altar. A must see, surely.

The chapel, on the right hand side as you enter the cathedral, is nice enough, but the Gem is the Holy Grail! Yes. It's up to each and everyone to decide, but I believe that it is what it says it is.

On the right when you enter the door adter paying your entry fee. Peaceful and in someways historical. The Grail can be traced back to 100BC so who knows if it IS THE one? Well worth a visit.

Considering we've been to Valencia many many times, I can't believe we never saw the actual Holy Grail! We brought a friend and it was so easy to understand the process with the instructions given and the English speaking audio guide. The grail itself was...More

Not being of the Christian faith, I was not as moved as some others were. However, it is quite interesting to see and to "feel" the importance of this artifact. The area is roped off of course, and Jesus' cup was behind a glass enclosure.

Beautiful place just like all amazing cathedrals. I’m so pleased that unlike so many other cathedrals around Europe that don’t allow pictures or close off certain places, this was not one of them. I’m so grateful.

you can take photos but you won't be able to get up close to it. It's quite high up and there are lots of lights, and the gold reflects a shine, so it's quite difficult to get a good photo. And it's in a chapel, and people... More
