Beautiful church. Head phone tour with some interesting facts. Something that you really shouldn't miss if you are in Valencia.

The chapel is quite large and can accommodate large groups of visitors. However this means that there is limited time for contemplation for those who wish to do this. The display area is set well back so viewing can be limited on busy days.

We visited the Cathedral to see the "Capilla del Santo Caliz”. Inside is the Chapel of the Holy Grail. It houses what the Roman Catholic Church recognizes as the "Blessed Cup" used by Jesus during the Last Supper. Is this the real one?

If you are a devout believer, it is a must see. If you aren't a devout believer, it is still a must see in order to marvel at the belief that this is actually THE Holy Grail! Sorry for the irreverence, but if it really were the Holy Grail, would people still be actively looking for it? Still it is... More

A "Must See"! Chapel of the Holy Grail is very moving and would highly recommend this as a Top 5 thing to do in Valencia...You can arrange tours in English for a cost (We didn't) and it probably is one of those attractions that's worth the money.

This chapel is located at the side of the cathedral and is a fine example of Spanish history since it still preserves authentic identity and characteristics. A visit, even for say 25 minutes, is recommended.

This former Chapter House was built between 1356-69 and is part of the beautiful cathedral located in the heart of the historic center of Valencia. The square Gothic style chapel features a fine looking alabaster stone altarpiece by Giuliano Poggibonsi from 1424 w/ 12 reliefs illustrating the Old & New Testament fronting the niched display case containing the Santo Caliz... This is a must see in Valencia. Climb the tower to get a birds eye view of the city and make sure to visit the museum.
