How much time had passed, from the moment we left our country, to the time we have the opportunity, to enjoy again this old style Mass, but the one we remember back then, in our country, was really beautiful, same as the church is. If...More

This is a beautiful church in the Plaza de la Virgen, filled with sculptures & artwork, with the frescoed ceiling being the highlight.

Sits beside the Cathedral and worth a look. Much smaller inside than I was expecting but beautifully decorated. There was a service when I was there and a choir singing which was a lovely experience to sit and listen to.

This basilica is quite special. It has a peaceful aura inside and adorned with sculptures and artwork that is commonplace in most of Spanish historic places of worship. However, looking up into the domed ceiling at the 3-D like fresco by Antonio Palomino.

Valencia has many beautiful churches with each one having a beautiful altar backdrop, some with so much gold it is dazzling.

This is a free place to visit in Valencia to meet to Virgen de los desamparados. Also close to the cathedral in Plaza de la Virgen.

This has a stunning ceiling painting and many facintating chapels. Portraits of recent Popes line one wall that was interesting to see. It is actively used for worship so remembering to be respectful when visiting is worth noting.

It was always busy during Fallas Festival so we went twice when it was less busy. Very homey compared to the larger Cathedral. Heard a homily by the priest and there were lots of worshippers attending.

Lovely to sit here and people watch but restaurants are overpriced and keen to move you on if you only want a drink.
