I saw several hundred beautiful churches and cathedrals on my trip to Italy and Malta. While this is by no means the nicest, it is attractive and impressive and worth going in if you are nearby,

The Cathedral of Reggio at first looks like a huge concrete Neo-Romanasque hulk built in the 1920s after the old the cathedral was destroyed by the big earthquake. In spite of this the Duomo contains some noteworthy sights: (1) first of all the restored Chapel...More

Another beautiful Italian catholic church. Not a destination unto itself, but a nice place to visit on rainy day or long stay touring.

It is very pretty, considering Reggio Calabria is a small town relative to other bigger cities where the cathedral spires rise above the buildings. The marble images are sculpted by local artists of the area.

It is not very big or ornate, but still interesting if you are religious. It is pretty much at the very end of the tourist part of Via Garibaldi.
