I felt on top of the world after my walk up through the Valle die Mulini! I intentionally left the bustle of Amalfi behind rapidly and walked to the top of the town, where opposite the Paper Museum is the start out of the walk....More

Wonderful and well-marked trail behind the town of Amalfi. Lemon groves, old paper mills, a babbling stream with some waterfalls. A nice getaway and something different than going to town or the waterfront. Hiking gear not required although definitely recommend tennis shoes. Additionally the hike...More

Valle dei Mulini was recommended to me as the best pizzas on the Amalfi Coast and they didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Positano.

Walk through the beautiful valley of the mills hidden in the hills behind the town of Amalfi. The water that flowed through the valley once powered medieval flour mills. Around the 12th century, the mills were converted to paper production, and Amalfi soon became known...More

Had a great hike up a beautiful and different valley. Walked beside the flowing stream, complete with waterfalls, for the first hour, past overgrown and photogenic factory ruins. Plenty of forest and cool on a hot day. Leaving the stream it was a steady climb...More

We visited this family run lemon business and were given an excellent tour of the grove and lemincelo factory. We had an excellent tasting, lunch and treated to a yoga session. It was a very different kind of visit, but really a lot of fun!
