We came across this little gem only by chance when we walked along a small alleyway down the side of the Bar Ristorante Syrenuse on Tasso Square. The alleyway is called Via Sant’Antonino and very easily missed. The alley takes a sharp right angled bend at which is located this wonderful, family-run restaurant and, as we stopped to read the... Me and my partner ended up here a few times for dinner during our time in Sorrento, it's quieter and out the way from the main square, however later in the evening it seems to fill up very quickly. Can't fault the food and service at all, and we enjoyed every meal we had here.

Guarracino is a small, 'infrequently-referred by the hotel concierge' place just off the Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's main square. Most tourist folks stop short at Caruso, the big-ticket ristaurante on same street...would be worth the extra few steps to continue past. Small family run bar and restaurant. Not a huge menu but everything is fresh and home cooked. The fish was fabulous, nice quirky touch is getting a selection of bread in a paper bag. Will definitely be going back.

Situated in a quiet lane off main Piazza. Very friendly staff, in a relaxed atmosphere. We were not rushed at all, and the Owner took time out to talk to us. The home made food was excellent. We will certainly go there again. Thank you for a great meal and evening.

Very friendly service in a nice spot off the beaten track. Spent a nice couple of hours in a family run business. Staff were attentive and genuinely interested in chatting with diners. No rushing and nothing was too much trouble. The owner even took time out to give us a local history lesson ... 10/10 you won't be disappointed ...... More
