This museum and the collections it houses were donated to the city to create a museum around 100 years ago. The result is a wonderful building, denuded of its home comforts and an eclectic mix of pieces.

The palace is in need of restoration but if you go through the arch to the back you will find an 18th century tiled wall that is beautiful and hints at past glories.
