Great central place

We stayed in Sorrento for two nights while visiting Italy in January. Enjoyed the christmas tree and music played on the hour starting at 6pm.

This is literally just a little intersection surrounded by tourist shops. It's cool in christmas when the Christmas Tree is up, but otherwise it's not really a thing to do... It's something to walk through when you are going somewhere else. Not sure why people are voting this as something to do. There are plenty of shops and cafes around... More

We stayed here during the one-day visit during our cruise that left us in Naples, it is the center of the beautiful town of Sorrento, full of all kinds people, many tourists but also many locals engaged in their daily lives. It 'nice to restrain not less the time for a coffee and look around.

Main Square, 4/5 good tourist sites including churches, Gorge view,Gardens to sea side where there is an elevator to Harbour level. Good restaurants and cafes, City Train (sightseeing) leaves from here and is good for orienteering.Train and bus statin 10 minutes away on foot. Access to all the little alleyway shopping streets both sides of the main street.

This is a great place to chill but the main square is full of tourist bars and restaurants. Go to the side streets for better restaurants. But come back to the square for a better atmosphere.

There were plenty of chairs around Piazza Tasso and there were also a lot of beautiful flowers around, so this is a great place to relax and take photos. However, I wouldn't sit here for long due to exposure to vehicle fumes. There were plenty of shops around this area, selling everything from Italian herbs and spices to handbags. There... More

Been many times - lastly in October this year. Always enjoy being there. Nice bars, great views - perhaps a little pricey but it's central.
