We tried to visit in January 2016 only to find that it's closed until further notice. I believe that it's been closed since August 2015 due to "extraordinary circumstances".

Although the aquarium only costs 1.50 euros, i am unhappy giving them my money. It is a very small aquarium, saw everything to see in about 10 minutes. Supposed to be about conservation but most of the animals look so unhappy, they shouldn't have been...More

Good value for money. Some sections were closed off due to maintenance. My only complaint was the rather disgusting toilet.

The oldest aquarium in the world is housed in a beautiful white monumental type building in the center of Naples' central park.. so I eagerly set out to explore it one windy spring day with my adventurous toddler. The outside of the building is very...More

If you are visiting Naples, don't ovelook this little gem. Like Naples itself, it's old and battered - but as somewhere to round off a day's sightseeing it's perfect. My experience has been that both adults and children are spellbound. This from someone who is...More
