We visited late in the evening and had the entire place to ourselves. Jaw dropping building with lavish décor. Oh yeah the TV show 'The Young Pope' filmed some scenes here. For an entrance fee of €4 it is well worth a visit.

This palace is worth visiting and it is only 4 euros to get in, but it is free on the first Sunday of the month. The staircase is extremely impressive because it is so large and decorated so beautifully. Once you reach the top you...More

Lots of beauty in the Royal Palace Napoli! Be prepared to walk up many steps, but worth the walk. Enjoy.

From the Naples Cruise Terminal it takes roughly 30 minutes by walk to reach the Royal Palace which is in front of Piazza Plebiscito and next to Teatro di San Carlo. This Royal Palace, designed by Domenico Fontana, was constructed around 1600 under the Spanish...More

We were really impressed with this place. For only 4€ per person we were treated to the most awe inspiring staircase we have ever seen; it was jaw dropping. We had no idea that a staircase could be so impressive. And as a bonus, we...More

The Royal Palace is well worth a visit. Going up the grand staircase, the marble and decoration is stunning! As you go round through the theatre and then on through the rooms including it's chapel are quite amazing with the paintings, wall coverings and furniture....More

The palace is beautiful with approximately 45 rooms, each with different decors. The grand staircase is amazing and a defining feature of the palace. The palace is reasonably priced at 4 euros each. What I did find disappointing is at the reception it offers you...More

Does anyone know if this is open on 4/25?

Response from yegorb306 | Reviewed this property |
It seems to be closed only on "Wednesday; Christmas, New Year, May 1, August or special opening" (Sorry, but Tripadvisor doesn't let me show website link. You can check it yourself) So, 4/25 should be open.
Is there a nice hotel near the palace? Is the palace mid-Naples or outside of Naples?
