Romantic and secluded beach (in October). Perfect for safe swimming (well protected cove). Snack bar was open on a Saturday in mid-October all day but didn't offer espresso, wine or beer - mainly ice cream and soft drinks for the younger set.

Didn't find this beach to be anything special...the sand doesn't look that great - we preferred to go to Chiolella.

After a short walk past a cemetery we arrived here, where we spent an enjoyable afternoon. There was only one place for food, with sparse (but tasty) offerings and nothing nearby outside. I wished there was a full scale restaurant there or at least nearby....More

The beach is amazing! You must go there if you visit procida! The service and the staff (although at the end they were friendly ) needed a bit to warm up. We only had a panino that was ok.

This is very much a beach for local people, but it's the best one near to the port area where most visitors will stay - you can get the bus, or it's a fairly easy 20 minute walk across the island. There's a cafe for...More

This is far away from the crowd, a local friend guided us to this beach. It hardly had some 20-30 local enjoying around. There is a small place which keeps Beer and Panini. It has a pay and use washroom too.

Loved the beach with stunning views, it was almost empty (end of the may), black sand and nice clear water.

I was walking along the street and saw a sign for the beach. On impulse I walked down a long narrow alley with mossy walls to a staircase that led down several stories to beach level. It had been chilly out on Belvedere terrace at...More

My wife and i spend three days in Procida. At the Pozzo Vecchio beach we sat at the restaurant and commanded two salats "procida" and a big bottle of watter "frizzante". I finished my salat and decided directely to go to swimm. I never lie...More

Procida is an Island that you can spend all day there. Family atmosphere, water just delicious. Many places to have a really good lunch. No need to take a bus, just walk around and you will find a precious town.

It is impressive how the owner responds to every customer's bad comment in such a defensive way. Of course I would like to hear both sides of the story but I have never read an owner responding in such a defensive way, here in USA we apologize and try to make things comfortable for our customers so they come back and we make $ but this owner tells the client to stay home and he does not need them, wow what kind of business is he running? I am wondering if he makes any $? Hopefully if I ever visit this place I never encounter bad service like the one these tourists report.

Hi, you have both options, in the same space you can either pay for a deck chair or bring your own towel. Saludos!
