A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

My young adult children and I spent a few delightful hours sampling Italian wines and cheeses at the Vino Roma wine and cheese dinner. We learned about what foods to pair with different types of wine ( a few surprises here!) and had the chance to sample some incredible local cheeses and unusual wines from around the country. I consider... More

A really great evening of top-quality wine and food, all expertly selected, and entertainingly presented. I'm keen on wine, and considered going for the wine tasting alone (one more wine to try!), but decided to go for the wine and cheese session, and I'm so glad I did. I expected great wine (and I wasn't disappointed), but I hadn't expected... More

Amazing little company with people who are passionate about wine, especially Italian. Very interesting largely unknown wines that reflect the newest in italian wine and a great teaching concept. note: be open to leave your preconceptions behind and listen to the somm.

By far the best non-business experience of my business trip. I knew a little about wine; I learned a LOT more. Not only were the wines themselves carefully curated, but they were paired with the freshest and best of local ingredients. We sat comfortably around an elegantly-set table and had a great time learning.

Our family of 6 spent a wonderful evening with Hande. She put together a terrific spread of Italian wines, cheeses, meats and bread and then took us on a tour around Italy, even though we never left her delightful studio. She took great care to teach us about what we were eating and why it was important. We truly learned... More

I read several amazing reviews and even had a recommendation from a friend for this. I would have to say that this was one of the best experiences I had in Rome. Hande was extremely knowledgable and did an amazing job at explaining in laymen terms and then explaining how professionals would think about it. The wines were amazing and... More

My husband and I live in Rome and it took us some time, but we finally signed up for Vino Roma's "My Italians" class. We liked it so much that we immediately asked how soon we could come back for the "Wine & Cheese Dinner", which we did the following week. Both evenings taught us how better to understand and... It was a great experience - two hours with five different wines tasted and the basis of very important wine-food pairing. We came with a bigger group - 17 people - and we managed to fit comfortably. We got to learn the basis - as it was important to learn how to properly taste the wine - and then everything... More
