enjoyed my tour with Ian today. He was knowledgable of the art and history of the church. He shared information in a good pace that I would not have known or maybe not been able to spend as much time learning. I needed a fast tour and they offered it with good information. Very pleased. More walking/standing than I had... More

Talked into a fast talker upon our walk to the Vatican to do this tour at a "discount" of €45 each to get fast entry as "lines are long today". Against our better judgment we took the bait. Our tour "guide", Daniela, was nice enough but not a good tour guide. She was scattered and unorganized. One couple in our... More

On the way to the Vatican we were approached by a very friendly man who offered us a tour. He explained that we would be able to skip the queue to get into the museum and the basilica if we were to be escorted by one of their tour guides. (True) He charged us €40 each, and the tour lasted... More

We were aggressively approached by some man with a name tag who told us we needed a ticket to get into the Colosseum. He led us to another guy who say "you pay me." We reluctantly handed over our 30 euro and then proceeded to get a terrible tour of the Colosseum. We were then passed off to another guide... More

We had no plans to have a guided tour as we approached the Vatican however after being approached on the street we decided that this may be the best way to see the attraction.... at a cost of €50 each we had a guided tour lasting 3+ hours that covered StPeters square, the Vatican Museum, the Sistine chapel and St... I will tell you first hand that Romaround Tours is the best way to see inside the Vatican, or tour inside the Colosseum. 1. This is a family run operation, they will treat you nicely, you are not just another ticket sale, they care. 2. The guides are professional and informative, they will answer any question you have anywhere on... More

whilst at the colasium I had a tour of the forum with a fantastic Canadian tour guide. she was fantastic so I signed up for a €50 per person tour of the Vatican. what a waste. met at 3:15 in the Vatican after security after 4pm stood in a garden looking at posters for 20 minutes listening to the most... So having done the coliseum tour the day before we were happy to pay the extra (€50) for Romaround as their tour of the Vatican was 3 hours and more in depth than the other cheaper ones (€35 or so). We were told to bring food as it would be a full day... unfortunately after we rocked up to the... More

Signed up to their Vatican Museum tour with the promise of Skip the Line and a tour time of 2hours. Here's what really happened: - you meet at the agency office and wait whilst latecomers arrive. Our tour officially started 15mins after the actual session slot - you have a 30minute talk outside of the agency building where you are... More

We signed up for the Romaround tour of the Vatican having heard their guide Rory showing a group around the Forum. He was clearly superb, interesting, clear, and his whole group looked very pleased. So, we grabbed him and asked about Vatican tours. We arrived slightly early and, having paid cash to avoid the €2 each card payment fee, were... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
