Valeria is an incredible guide with not only unsurpassed knowledge, but with incredible heart and passion for her city. My teenagers were in awe of her stories and she captured our interest in every site we toured. She is fun and interesting and we would absolutely look her up again next time we visit Rome.

Excellent tour by our informative guide, Valeria! We were recommended by our friends to try "Secrets of Rome" after they enjoyed their services. Our guide, Valeria, has great passion about the history and culture of Rome and she communicated that happy enthusiasm to us easily. We learned many intriguing facts on our Vatican tour. There are many other tours available... More

My best friend flew in from the states and he wanted to go to Rome. My brother-in-law recommended Secrets of Rome tour service. I wanted to male sure my friend had an amazing experience so I hired the service. It was incredible. We had a blast and learned a lot about ancient and modern Rome. We were able to skip... More

My wife and I took this tour last month. Our guide, Valeria, was great. An archeologist, Valeria was able to explain many details that we would not otherwise have understood. In addition to informing us, Valeria was a real "live wire" personality, which enhanced the experience still further. While the tour covered the Colosseum in depth, it also traversed so... More

In April 2011 I went to Rome with my wife and parents. My father did the travel mostly in his wheelchair. We also wanted to see the Vatican. That’s... More

We booked two tours with this company and both were fantastic. Our guide for the Vatican tour, Massimo, was incredible. He is extremely knowledeable and very friendly. Our guide for the Roman Colosseum tour, Valeria, was great also! She is actually an archeologist and had so much to share about ancient Rome. Highly recommend the small tour group. The personal... I didn't expect this review to follow one with a similar problem, perhaps we were scheduled for the same day. We too were stood-up by our guide. Unfortunately, we did not have a phone nor access to a computer at the time. We were able to join another tour company and hope for the best with our pre-paid Secrets of... More

Dear Sir, unfortunately we are talking about the same day and the same tour mentioned in the previous review. Indeed, our guide had an accident and, since we had no way of contacting you by phone, we immediately sent you a refund through PayPal and offered you a free private tour, as we did with the other client. Accidents happen,... More

don't bother with them they are not professionals. They never showed up to our prearranged, prepaid and confirmed tour of the vatican. They left us along there and they don't even have someone to pick up the telephones when you need them !! I wonder why they did not show an address for their offices and their phones send you... Dear Sir, as we wrote to you immediately after this mistake occured, a number of accusations are not correct. First of all, we responded on the same day as the oversight reimbursing you the total amount that you paid. We even offered you a free tour as a compensation, but your response was at 11:03 on Monday for a same... More

we can only say thanks to Max for all his talking and explanations of the Vatican and it's secrets, after a slight hiccup over the meeting times we were whisked off and treated like royalty the time went so fast and all the way through we were treated to history like never before if we had more time I would...
