Navona is a very large piazza with plenty of places to sit and eat and people watch! We had better food elsewhere so I'd recommend saving your money and finding a more local and non-touristy place for lunch or dinner... and definitely don't spend 12 euros for gelato there!! It can be found lots of places for less if you... More

Enjoy your day or afternoon at Piazza Navona. You can also visit Sant'Agnese in Agone, beautiful and no doubt one of my favorite places in Rome!

Best Piazza to spend the evening and have ice cream. Music all around and very friendly place, there are some lovely places to eat but expensive. Be careful when drinking it becomes very expensive very quickly .......

The main fountain is very nice, especially at night. You can find a lot of nice restaurants and bars around, a little more expensive than average because of the location. All in all, a lovely place.

A lovely Piazza with lots of character and atmosphere and a 'must do' when in Rome however, prices in the restaurants around the Piazza are massively inflated €18 for 1l beer but pop around the corner and cafes are charging €5 -8. Obviously you are paying for the ambience but €18 was very expensive compared with anywhere else we visited... More

I do think this square is better then the Trevi Fountain because in this place is less tourists and you can watch beautiful fountains. I recommend visit Sant Agnese in Agone Church.

This is one of the largest Piazzas in Rome and has a most impressive edifice on one side and fountain in the centre. Part of the attraction here has to be some of the characters trying to earn a crust here. There was one old boy standing with his "beat box" swaying slightly to the music and hoping for a... More

We visited this plazza several times and day having a drink taking in the scenery and entertainment . Yes it's a bit expensive to eat/drink here but it's central rome!. The street entertainers are reminiscent of Covent garden.

Neighbourhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
