Bernini was a true master of sculptures, and this fountain is a fantastic demonstration of his abilities. Conveniently in the middle of the piazza navona, it's got a neverending parade of tourists and tour groups. Go early enough in the morning and you might find the fountain alone. The only real question is how Dan Brown expects to drown someone... More

The fountains are really stunning to see. You have nice restaurants and cafe's around. The museo di roma is also at this square. I would pay a visit.

Visit the fountain during the day to marvel at Bernini's skill at detail. Visit at night to see the beauty of the lighted water and the shadows on the same.

We had Jobe from the Ultimate Walking Tour tell us the history of this amazing place. The statues, the fountains and the history is amazing. Highly recommended.

This brilliant fountain looks perfect by night but also at daylight. Enjoying the Navoma place it is a highlight to see the christmas market also. The history of this creation is very impressive.

Made by Bellini apparently in the middle of the bacons piazza. Apparently each of the fountains is an area reached by the pope. The buildimg opposite was an old popes family home so I was told. This fountain was also meant to be in angels and demons the Dan brown book. Aside from any of the history this piece is... More
