Nice Bernini sculpture

This is a very nice fountain and Rome seems to be filled with them. It was entirely designed and sculpted by Bernini in 1643. It was only a 10 minute walk from Trevi Fountain... read more

This is a fountain that seems to have no importance at all. But it is one of the Bernini's most great works and she rise in the middle of Barberini square reminding us that even beauty can survive in the middle of the caos and the smog of a city.

Triton Fountain is a beautiful site to see. In the center of this magnificent fountain is the sculpture of Triton The Sea God. Triton, the son of Neptune, is shown as a strapping sea god. They say he blew his horn and thus put an end to the great flood. Triton is shooting water from a conch shell that sits... More

Not a lot to say really, this is a pretty fountain and is just lovely in the evening, as it is well lit and looks so nice... A nice place surrounded with nice bars and restaurants... 😊

Most beautiful at night. Central to the circle, and the circle is the hub to a number of major streets, including the Via Veneto, a great street for shopping. The fountain has Bernini's signature symbol of 3 Bumble Bees.

This is a very nice fountain and Rome seems to be filled with them. It was entirely designed and sculpted by Bernini in 1643. It was only a 10 minute walk from Trevi Fountain and is well worth a look. You might want to do Trevi second though as the Bernini is much smaller in comparison however there will be... More

The Fontana Del Tritone is about 25 minutes walk from the main bus station (Termini). The fountain itself, as well as the rest of the architecture nearby, are truly magnificent. There is some armed security on site so is also safe to visit.

Another of the key fountains to visit, very close to a metro stop. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the area although it's by a main road junction. Close to the Spanish steps so worth a look.

Like all other fountains in Rome, this is also a nice fountain - just outside the Barberini metro station.

Like most fountains in Italy, this fountain too is of architectural value, full of history, a must see when in Rome. Beware of pickpockets & conman at all times as advised by our Tour guide.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
