A beautiful Statue of Triton in the middle of a large public square (Piazza Barberini) which was sculpted by Bernini. May be considered a poor cousin to other well known Fountains but in my view holds its own ! Well worth a visit and a...More

This is one of the best spots in Rome! Even with all the people there I felt transformed to a different time! If in Rome you must do this!

Another piazza and other fountain. Ha ha. Anywhere but Rome and this fountain would be mega popular and packed with tourists. But with the Trevi only a stone’s throw away this place is often overlooked but yet not a bad photo opportunity nonetheless- with no-one...More

Well I though that this was in Piazza Bernini but in fact it is called Piazza Barberini. Other than this beautiful fountain ( hang on we have seen many fountains in Rome and of course some of which are more graceful and beautiful) but this...More

Nice little fontaine with many shops and eating places around it. Heavy traffic, so much noise around it.

One of the lesser known fountains in Rome is the Fontana del Tritone, located in Piazza Barberini. This is another great place for a photo since it’s not very crowded, but it’s not worth lingering here long. The statue is worthy of appreciation.

Located within Piazza Barberini is this beautiful fountain, by Bernini. We felt privileged to able to get up close and personal, with the famous sculptors work, many piccies were taken. This is definitely a must see

This fountain was a couple of minutes walk from our hotel (Alexandra). We were just looking around the neighborhood and wondered what the nice fountain was. Enjoy it for 5 or 10 minutes. The neighborhood seems well trafficked even at 22:00. I don’t know if...More

Bernini's 1642/3 Triton fountain commissioned by Pope Urban VIII and featuring his family bee motif is located in the centre of Piazza Barberini. Worth a quick visit, but not terribly relaxing given the piazza is now a busy traffic island. Note the second Bernini fountain...More

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee

never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
