The huge success of "Cinecitta Shows Off" confirmed his values and convinced the studios to proceed the project which grows up and gets new: more spaces dedicated to sceneries, completely new the part of the costumes and some accessories exposed in the dedicated spaces. Cinecitta Shows Off traces the history of Cinecitta: scenes, costumes, sets, characters – actors, directors, producers – who passed through what we called The Dream Factor. The new area "Backstage" is an educational and interactive environment to discover the world of film making. The exhibition is open every day (closed on Tuesday) from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (ticket office close at 5.30 pm). To buy tickets, click here. Cinecitta also allows guided tours of permanent sets, with the purpose of cultural entertainment. For our customers, we propose different kind of visit that offers the unique opportunity discover "behind the scenes" a real film production company.Going through the gate that separates the real world from wonderland, you get the feeling of being in contact with a legend understanding why it's called the Factory of Dreams. The same feeling that charmed Fellini and that convinced Scorsese to shoot right at Cinecitta his Gangs of New York and still allows a lot of directors to work with us.

Had enough of the crowds in Rome? Cinecitta is the answer! It is simple to get to...just get on the Metro and ride to the Cinecitta stop. It is AT THE GATE of the studios. Doesn't get much easier. Check the time for the English...More

The setting of Cinecitta opens onto beautiful landscaped gardens and there is an immediate sense of space – there are no queues and because of the scale of the location there are no crowds – it is a very calm, quiet and pleasant. It is...More

Visited Cinecitta in November 2016 and we paid for both the Museum entry and the guided tour of the sets within the studio backlot itself. The Museum was very informative with plenty of costumes and audio visual elements showing the history of the studios and...More

This is a wonderful place to visit during your stay in Rome. It is a quick 20-minute metro ride from Roma Termini Station. The tour itself was mediocre and we could not understand a word the guide uttered even though she was supposed to be...More

Very enjoyable visit of a number of film sets and galleries displaying artefacts and pictures from great movies. Obviously these are not Hollywood studios, but it gives you a great introduction to movie making and Italian cinema history. Our kids enjoyed it a lot.

None of us are exactly film buffs, but we thought that a visit to these world-famous film studios would make a change from ancient Roman remains and churches. They are easy to reach, as the entrance is right outside the Cinecitta metro station; and we...More

This is a tour of a working studio so don't expect to get glimpses of behind the scenes of the next blockbuster as you won't visit those sets. Instead you'll take an hour long walk around the site visiting available studios and massive outdoor film...More

Its by no means worth your while. Or money. For 10 Euro you get to go into the first area, with a park, a café (aeroplane-food) and 2 buildings you can enter. Inside there are some photos and some films running. Not very interesting, even...More

Between 1 and 1,30 hours. The tour is divided in two parts. 1 guided tour on external studios to see scenographies 2 free tour to see the museum with movie posters, short trailers and costumes.

€20 per person with the guided tour! Think it was a 10% discount if you had a train ticket too!
