Came to Testaccio for food tour and hope to come back in the future for a longer visit. Lovely little food shops, excellent place for relaxing in Piazza Testaccio and the market is a feast for the eyes.

Definitely worth a stop if you have the time. This is a true working class Roman neighborhood. It is going through a transition and is considered a hot spot with foodies.

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
hit, the area is full of locally owned small

Is there a place in Testaccio Market to sit down and eat what you have purchased?

Answer
Response from James V | Reviewed this property |
We took a walking and eating tour of seven places in Testaccio including the Market. We didn't sit there, but in addition to grocery items there was prepared food to eat so I would guess there was some seating.
