An amazing small Baroque church which is stunning and glorious inside. Probably the most impressive piece of sculpture is the one executed by Bernini being the Ecstasy of St. Teresa. A magnificent work of art in an almost theatrical setting. Overall interior is very ornate...More

This church is another beauty in Rome. So grand and almost overwhelming to take it all in. Bernini's sculpture of the Ecstasy of St. Teresa is in this church and is a very beautiful piece.

We visited Santa Maria della Vittoria as we walked past it, on our way to another site. It is lovely and quite impressive and worth a look if you are in the area.

Another of Rome's amazing churches not to be missed. The baroque interior is quite stunning and makes a visit worthwhile. But the centerpiece for us was Bernini's masterpiece - the Ecstasy of St Teresa. Beautifully presented!

If you are one of those people who thinks Michael Angelo was the world's best sculptor, visit Santa Maria Dell Victoria! It features two priceless masterpieces by Benini, which I believe are beyond compare... Unless it's something else he has sculpted! I go back every...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
