The white marble statue of St Catherine of Siena stands in Piazza Pia in the gardens of Castel Sant' Angelo. A beautiful statue, it shows the saint in movement, with her bending down in an act of charity.

Located in Parco Adriano, close to the Castel Sant’Angelo it is rather unassuming, sitting just off Luntotevere Castello. The monument consists of a statuary likeness of St. Catherine and 4 panels in relief. Patron Saint of the US and Italy

The monument is by no means the most impressive one in Rome, especially keeping in mind that one encounters it either after Ponte Sant'Angelo of after Vatican. That said, when you see it, take a look and make up your opinion.
