The French 75 was to die for. Perfect for a chill night out. The music was a little loud for my taste, but you know, it IS a bar so I can't complain. Overall a very fun spot!

I was in the area with my gf and we stopped in for a few drinks. Salotto 42 came up on a list of best cocktail bars in Rome and I loved what we had here. It was in the afternoon so I cant talk...More

Who can say they have had some of the best cocktails in Europe while looking at a nearly 2000 year old temple?! My mother and I popped in after an afternoon of sightseeing around 5pm, it was very quiet and we got a good seat...More

I didn't visit any bars as cool and chic as Salotto 42 while on vacation in Rome. A few blocks off the beaten path from the Pantheon, this bar is the kind of place that you don't just stumble upon as a tourist. It's the...More

From a tourist's standpoint it was a welcome change from standard Trattoria selections. Great Music and Drinks- we showed up for brunch on Sunday and had different exciting options for their version of spritz, (fantastic cocktail options too) and food, pasta and salad options were...More

Going on a "First date". Is this a spot that we can sit together perhaps on a sofa and be able to chat? Is it possible to reserve a table situated that way. Do you have a full typical aperitivo? If not, do you serve dinner?

I would say it's the perfect place to have a first date ...
Hi! I'm about to go to Rome for 4 days this weekend and I'm really interested in visiting this place on Saturday, because i've heard and i've read great reviews about it. My questions is - do I need to book a table before going or not? ...Because from what I've read, I see that it's a busy place.... if I go without a reservation, will I be able to find a table?

It may be hard to find a table since interior is rather small. If there is a possibility better make a reservation. This place is worth to go there. Nice guests, tasty drinks and free appetizers ;)
