We did the Colosseum and Forum Tour with Maria. It was supposed to be a group tour; however, there wasn't anyone else signed up so we got a private tour, which was a plus. We were really looking forward to this tour to learn all about the history of the area and we had a great tour the night before... More

We were looking for a small group tour of the Vatican Museums and choose this company based on the recommdation of others and I can only recommend it myself. Expecting to be part of a small group, we were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only ones on the tour. We very much enjoyed our " private tour" with... More

We spent three days with Maria Elena. She was incredibly knowledgeable and really brought Rome to life. First day was a 4 hour tour including colosseum, forum and pantheon. Next day was Borghese gallery. Third day was shopping. She showed us places that we would have never found on our own. She was fun to be with and very nice.... More

Our travel agent, Becky, at Beach Bum Vacations, booked all of our tours in Rome with Rome Walks. We weren't sure what to expect but after witnessing the other options around us, we knew that Rome Walks is by far the best way to tour Rome! All of of guides were extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the tours they gave.... More

In Rome this past February, we signed up for the group tour of the Vatican and ended up getting a private tour at no extra cost! Our guide was fantastic, giving information about the art, history, and politics. Absolutely added to our enjoyment of this amazing city.

A group of friends and I did the Scandals tour with Simone! It was fantastic and informative! We all live in Rome and saw things we have never seen before. Simone was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The company was great too in organizing the event for us. Highly recommend!

We went on three tours. Ancient City and Colosseum Walk, Skip-the-Line Vatican & Sistine Walk, and Borghese Gallery. All three were outstanding. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learn so much and experienced a truly excellent adventure

Firstly the positives. Our guide Alessandro for the Vatican was excellent. He had an extensive knowledge and explained everything very well. It was an excellent tour. Our tour of the Colosseum and Forum was also good but not to the same standard as the Vatican Tour. I would recommend both tours to people visiting Rome, unless you already have an... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
