Too much hype, too many people, too many security guards telling you what to. It was fine but really better as a documentary, we had a great tour leader, the breif was good but it is not up there with so much of Roma whichnis...More

This is a must when in Rome. The paintings are superb. I couldn’t get over how much detail there was and how vibrant the colors are. I sat on the bench seats on either side to view the paintings. Make sure to have the painting...More

Absolutely unbelievably amazing place - the works of art are breath taking. Only criticism is far too many people in at 1 time not able to take a lingering look at all the artefacts - resembled a football game queue - not quite what we’d...More

You already know you should go there. I'll just add that taking the early entry tour is worth the money. You see the Vatican before it is crowded, especially the Sistine Chapel. Plan to spend the day.

Sadly this place was so busy it felt like being here’d through a cattle market. The noise from everyone just kept increasing even though the guides continually shouted silence. Just didn’t feel I was able to appreciate this special space at all so very disappointed...More

I can't imagine it is in anyway. It is a Catholic Chapel above all else and the church likes marriage!
