Arguably one of the finest Cathedrals in the entire world, St. Peter's is the spiritual center of the Vatican and the product of many of Italy's great Renaissance's architects, among them Bramante, Raphael and Michelangelo.

Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the beauty of St Peter's. Very overwhelming. Take time to just sit and take it all in.

Saw it as a part of Walks of Italy pristine Sistine tour. As beautiful as you could imagine. Plan on a significant part of the day just seeing everything here. Kind of overwhelming but worth the time if you have it.

Amazing church and a recommendation whilst in Rome. Remember to take something to cover shoulders and knees. We also climbed to the top of the basilica and the views are amazing. Nog for the faint-hearted though - some stairs are tiny and twisty.

Amazing church, amazing history. So breathtaking to look at from inside and outside and the history behind it all and the artwork is truly awe inspiring. Make sure to go way up the dome, tons of stairs but the views are worth it

Hi Dennis. St Peters Basillica is free to enter and you can visit there on its own. I'd recommend doing it that way as we now regret doing it all in one day, or at least regret not going to St Peters first. Enjoy! Ll
