While in Bologna we randomly walked into this museum and what a hidden gem! it´s free of charge and we were the only ones there so we got a very informative but not too long guided tour by a very friendly and knowledgeable young man....More

Another University museum, founded in 1860. Thousands of pieces, well displayed in their 1800's showcases. Is free of charge, only open in weekday mornings (9-13) from September to March, to make sure better call in advance.

Ok, it would need some renewal. But the collection of stones is absolutely amazing. You can easily spend a full hour there. And it is free of charge. A must-see!
