We went there to take some pictures on 10 Nov. The Cathedral looked closed. As it was getting dark, we arrived there by Bus 24, we left with the same bus a while later. Bus 24's two terminals, one at Train Station, the other at the Cathedral. Hmm.... only if the Cathedral is opened, we got to enter... perhaps that... More

On a hill overlooking the city, the castle is quite austere. From the ramparts there are lovely views of the city. The museum includes the Chapel of St George and an interesting collection of ola weapons and armour.. Take Bus 24 to the castle and then walk back down into the city.

Its a beautiful mountaintop view! Instead of taking a right turn once you enter area over drawbridge, walk straight to the stairs to right of big bell and statue and go to terrace. You will have the best of views there plus for those who indulge a small bar. Once you have taken in those views continue around to right... More

This is a big fortress from the middle age. There are a lot to see, but the most interesting and nice is the view on the city from its walls. Don't miss the cathedral!

Certainly having some of the best views of the city from its walls, I was very surprised to find some interesting artefacts on display after descending down a steep underground staircase. The cafe area has a fabulous seating area outside where you can sit in the sun and look over the city. There's also interesting models, an armoury, and the... More

Realy hard to find by car, becouse of lot of one way street around, but worth the effort. Place of great energy, glittering panoramic view, this castle practically owns gulf ofTrieste. Nice way to feel contact with the ancestors in the late afternoon, before the night out.

A great big medieval fortress. It comes with various artefacts in it. A great view from the top. You can also buy food and drinks from a pretty good cafe there. It is worth exploring

A great medieval fortress. I went for the views from the Walls but was pleased to see displays of artifacts inside.

It is worth climbing to the hill from the centre of the town. It is not so hard as it looks like and the view is fine. The cathedral is lovely, but unfortunately it was closed lasy time we came.

Thank Boris B
