I went in on a whim and am so glad I did. The upstairs exhibits on fiber arts were fascinating. The kitchen and medical sections were also great. This is a great museum to get a sense of everyday life in the region, particularly life in the late 1800s.

I visited it for curiosity and I found it very nice. You can find there old tools for the wool working and other tool for knitting etc. You can see also fabrics of different kinds. It interesting for kids.

a very compact and hands on museum that should probably be on everybody's list of museums to visit in Udine. Some of the displays are in Italian; it is all about Friulian culture and lifestyles of the Roman era and makes for an interesting afternoon out of the heat of the July sun.

If you want to experience the pure lifestyle, clothes, cuisine of the region, you should definitely pay a visit for this museum, you need at least 1,5 hours. Like other museums in the city, closed on Mondays.
