Picturesque Village-

The views and quaint charm of this place are unmatched. Busy and crowded in the mid day, quiet and lovely for late dinners

Well worth a trip to possibly the best of the Cinque Terre villages. We arrived by train and walked down the one and only main street which was pretty and interesting and very busy for such a small place. We visited the church and the castle and had something to eat on the harbour front.

Webt there for hiking. Paths are well looked after which will cost you EUR 7.50 per day. Scenery as expected beautiful. But you have to share with masses of other tourists.

My favourite of all the 5. Picturesque seaside. Great views from the castle and walking track from Corniglia. Masses of day trippers and groups which was painful but that wss in all the villages.

We arrived here after walking from Corniglia, which took about 1.5-2 hrs. We ambled down to the harbour where we had a lovely lunch at Taverna del Capitano which is also recommended.

Wow, part of the famous Cinque Terre towns Vernazza is small & charming & the hikes north & south are outstanding with spectacular vistas although the hike toward Monterossa al Mare is more challenging than the one to Corniglia.

Lovely village. Short 10 minute train ride from levanto. We recommend not to try and drive here and instead stay in levanto which is 10 minute from the freeway. Another option is to park in levanto train station, take your bags and stay in one of the villages of cinque terre. The village itself is adorable. We also recommend to... More

Other than the trails, there isn't too much to do in Vernazza. Had some reasonable meals, but one of the seafood meals was the worst I've ever had. Very touristy and not much else other than trails. Quite expensive to do anything in this town. If you like hiking go for it, otherwise don't spend too much time there.

I am so founded of the cinque terre that I used to come almost every year for the last 5 years until my baby girl was born. Now I cannot wait to show her the most spectacular show of the nature itself with colour and candour. This piece of earth is heaven. Must see
