Amazing and beautiful place hidden in the rocks. A perfect place to sit with a drink and admire the costline and sun. Filled with few small restaurants where you can have tasty seafood. Or just sit on the stones with a cold drink.

Boccadasse is a small, old fishing village in the suburbs of Genoa, a short bus ride along the coastline. We probably didn’t visit on the best day as the weather was poor, it was very wet. Not really that much to see here. Quite pretty...More

We walked from the centre of Genoa to Boccadasse mainly because of the Montalbano connection. Luckily it was a beautiful day for a walk because, to be honest, Boccadasse isn’t worth the effort! Yes, it’s pretty but not as lovely as some of the other...More

In this small part near the ocean we had a great walk and fantastic scenery. If you've got time just take a strawl and enjoy the view.

The old harbour area is delightful. Small, but full of charm with a few cafes and restaurants. No need to spend long here. We got there on the 42 bus from Genoa and walked back along the seafront - OK for a walk but not...More

After reading some reviews we decided this seem to be a nice alternative than walking around the main city. We are quite happy to walk between 8 - 12 miles when out in Wales so an hours walk from our hotel (NH Genoa) didn't seem...More

Charming little place. Travelled by bus from Genoa city centre and then returned by walking alongside the coast which took about an hour.

After reading several reviews, I have to say I was disappointed with Boccadasse. We had walked from lovely Nervi along the beautiful coast, but I just didn't get this place. Even though it was an April week day, the place was packed, with sunbathers all...More

I could also recommend scanning through Airbnb. I've stayed in an apartment only 400m away from Bocadasee and it was fairly cheap.
