This is a charming little fishing port with fantasic views if you are prepared to climb to the top of the Cap di Santa Chiara. There was a excellent little fish restaurant up the track leading to the Church. My only complain is the rubbish...More

Had a great lunch and stroll around this picturesque corner of Genoa overlooking the sea. Easy to get there by bus. A few good looking restaurants--we ate at GE8317. A great balance to the grittiness of the rest of the city.

A beautiful little beach town just outside of Genoa, accessible by public transportation and cabs from the city. Worth visiting for lunch or a half-day, try La Cambusetta if you want to be right on the water. If you want to swim, there is a...More

A beautiful fishing village & tiny harbor with colourful facade are tucked away in Boccadesse. It's a hidden gem. Offers such character and beauty. A must see.

Boccadasse is a tiny little pearl, a gorgeous mini-harbor ringed by hillside houses, lovely cafes, fishing boats and a tiny pebbled beach. Lovely by day, it is positively electric by night as tourists (mostly Italian) mingle with locals on the piazza, the seaside bars, the...More

Nothing crazy about it, it's a bit expensive, but if you don't have much time in Genoa and you want to a taste of the villages near the sea, this port is good for a break from the city. If you go by night, note...More

incontournable, unmissable. always, at any time, in any case. just go, and see by yourselves. I'd recommend getting yourself a drink before dining, or later on, and enjoying it right on the pebble beach

I will write this for international tourists especially: Just GO TO SEE THIS BEAUTY. It's a simple beach, apparently nothing incredibile, but I always found there a magic atmosphere and an authentic italian feeling. Just go to spend some time there, it's worth seeing!

I could also recommend scanning through Airbnb. I've stayed in an apartment only 400m away from Bocadasee and it was fairly cheap.
