Museum was nice with informative English language signs in each room. That being said, I found the visit a little underwhelming. There is massive unrealized potential (like the city as a whole). Pictures of the garden look beautiful, but the reality is a small square...More

The palace was originally build by Genovese aristocracy, but was sold to the Royal family of Savoy in the 1820's. The royal family used it as their residence when staying in Genova. The palazzo is famous for it's beautiful "hall of mirrors". It will take...More

The Reale will not be the biggest European home you visit but a stroll through the rooms and small gardens are definitely worth the 6 euro entry. The highlight is the splendid glass gallery. NOTE ABOUT ACCESS - the public rooms are four longish flights...More

A luxurious and elegant building that holds surprises in every room. Do not miss the gallery of mirrors, the terrace overlooking the port of Genoa and the private apartments of the king which are accessed with a ticket other than the one valid for the...More

Hello, We were at this palce and we liked it. You can visit only the superior floor, with nice rooms, king’s room, event room, king and queen’s bedroom. It also has a small garden where you can take some pictures. Enjoy!

Lots more art to see in beautiful surroundings. Again mostly Italian Renaissance. The view down to the garden form the upper terrace is lovely, revealing a mosaic area around a beautiful lily pond. The views of the exterior of the palace are also wonderful from...More

You will be stunned by the grandeur - paintings, sculptures, furniture and so much more... The view from the terrace towards the harbor alone is worth a visit.

Well worth a visit. The art and architecture on display was a real surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the different rooms and reading the informative descriptions. In midweek it is quiet so you can walk round at your own pace.

Only the third floor has rooms with furniture but the smaller copy of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles and so many variations on the design of chandeliers in different rooms are superb. It contains many frescoed rooms, though some look in need of tlc....More

This building is splendid although the stairs to reach the entrance are pretty steep! Each room is more splendid than the last with gold leaf in abundance. Well worth a saunter around.

So sorry for delay in responding, had trouble getting into site. Too late now I’m sure, but so hope you took Jacko2015’s advise as I’m sure your girls enjoyed them.
