A beautiful chapel in Citta Alta in the Piazza just a minute's walk from Torre Civica. Go through the arches on the way passing the meridian line and you come to a Piazza where there's three churches next to each other.

This is a small chapel and well worth a (quick) visit if you are in the vicinity to see the duomo or the SM maggiore next door. The outside is more impressive however, still, a lovely sight

This Cappella build in a late XV century. This is a jewel of Lombard-Renaissance architecture build as a mausoleum

Given all I'd been given to expect, the architecture and structure looked more impressive from outside than inside! Nice viewing outside, as you catch your breath seated on the steps of the Duomo.

Even though smaller than the Basilica next door, this is still worth a visit. Stunning building exterior from the outside. Beautiful from the inside. There is a small shop which sells religious items.

The building's front is lovely in colored marbles. Inside has your usual elaborate religious art, not really to my taste, but certainly worth a stop.
