Really helpful shop owners who knew their stuff. Ensuring I got value for money was their concern, which was so refreshing to see. I will be buying from their online service when I return home. Mille grazie!!! DJ

A quaint shop with an excellent selection of products. I returned to purchase gifts for folks back home. Anna, the owner is very knowledgeable and quite helpful! My Italian friends and family in the US were very impressed with all the goodies I brought them and the best thing of all are the very reasonable prices!

Make sure to visit Olivetum on your visit to Como. The owner, Anna, and all of her family are very knowledgeable in a wide variety of specialty food items. The warm and welcoming shop is brilliantly decorated with lovely antiques. Her tables and cash register table were recycled from wine crates....brilliant design! While visiting this shop, you not only feel... More

One of the most charming shops we visited in Como. Great product lines including many locally made items. Beautiful pastas, lovely balsamic vinegars and top notch olive oils. Be sure to speak with Anna, the owner who is most knowledgable about all of her products. The atmosphere is so quaint and welcoming! The prices are also very reasonable. We enjoyed... More

Wanted to try and buy some balsamic and olive oil. They were very helpful and glad we wandered down this way. Pizzeria next door is great as well!

Went there to specifically buy some aged balsamic and came away very pleased with my purchase. The owners gave us the three different aged balsamics they sell and they were all very nice. Also bought some olive oil as a little gift. Will buy online from now on as I cannot get to Italy for this. Recommend this store!

My wife and I did have this store in mind when visiting Como but were not actively looking for it, instead trying to find the Duomo when we stumbled upon it by accident. They've got a great selection of artisan products from balsamico, olive oil and pasta, to cookies, chocolate and savory jams. We picked up some porcini, sun dried... More

If you happen to be in Como this is a must visit. The shop is full of wonderful italian specialities. We were given a tasting of a number of Balsamic vinegars together with advice on how to use them. The owner is very knowlegable and very outgoing. We were also offered a grappa tasting. We will be back at the... More
