The park is about 20 mins walk from the centre of Stresa. From the entrance it is a fairly steep walk up to the top level but worth it.On the way up you can visit the small Zoo and go inside the enclosures with some...More

The park is beautiful and well maintained. The one to one with the llamas, goats and deer was brilliant. A bit of uphill but well worth it. Nice cafe for lunch and a rest. We could have spent the whole day there.

Visited this garden one afternoon in October. Strange place with lots of animals about, I guess to attract and amuse some of the visitors. Some good tree specimens (though not rarities) and interesting gardens - formal, wild, etc.

This is not well promoted but it has excellent botanical gardens, a petting zoo with large numbers of creatures, impressive variety of trees and a hill top restaurant with georgeous views of Lake Maggiore.

Having read some if the reviews I think we just visited at the right time. A quiet, sunny day, walking with our dog who was permitted everywhere apart from the farm, where animals were apparently roaming. But there was plenty more to see. The grounds...More

We spent several hours here, walking in the gardens, and looking and interacting with the animals, (including some Australian ones for us Aussies!). It was peaceful with plenty of space to be away from people. Some parts of the gardens obviously haven’t been able to...More

It is easy top walk around, but it is on a hill. You better take the little train from Stresa main square so to arrive at the top and then walk down. Come and see us!
