Welcome to the Museum of the Cathedral, a symbol of Milan all over the world. The Museum's 26 exhibition rooms house the works of art originally from both the Duomo and from the historic storerooms of Veneranda Fabbrica, now organised chronologically to illustrate all the construction stages of the Cathedral, from its foundation in 1386 right through to the 20th century.

The museum is well worth visiting, and the artifacts inside are extraordinary. They make you awe at the talent and innovation of the people from a time before modern technology existed. Great for history buffs!

Full disclosure, I am aan academic medievalist and so this was a treasure trove for me. Too many pieces to detail, including fascinating wooden models of the Duomo, but there is something to interest everyone here, not only professional medieval geeks like me. The Duomo...More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square

to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria
Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high
quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch
expedition into a royal experience. Head to the
