Great museum describing the history of Milan from ancient times through the Middle ages. They have nice selections of Greek, Roman and Etruscan artifacts. It's only a 10 minute walk from Duomo.

We really enjoyed this museum. It's well set up with different eras on different floors. Do not miss the church next door.

This was a very interesting museum - unfortunately we visited at lunchtime so the basement and 3rd floor were shut, but it was very well laid out.
