Bernasconi was established in 1872 as a workshop of handmade silver products in the centre of Milan and in 1924, for the highest quality in manufacturing of products, the King of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III bestowed Bernasconi with the right to inscribe the royal coat-of-arms with the inscription "Royal Household Patent" on the products made. Bernasconi became one of the official suppliers of the Royal Household Savoy ("Fornitore della Real Casa"). In the early years of this century, the Milan Municipality awarded to Bernasconi the honour of Historical Shop ("Negozio Storico") and the Lombardy Regional institution awarded to Bernasconi the honour of Historical and Traditional Emblem ("Insegna storica e di tradizione"), as a location of memory, heritage of professionalism, and of tradition passed down for generations. Bernasconi, silversmith for over a century, suggests you new ideas of style for your home and person by proposing its refined handicraft creations of natural precious materials (such as silver, horn, leather, crystal, marble and mother of pearl) and the best productions realized by those firms who share its philosophy and passion for quality and luxury. We are available to produce bespoke objects from samples, models or drawings, also proposed by you, and to engrave them for any kind of personalization. We are the main or unique reseller in Milan for the products of well known artisans, paradigm of the best Made in Italy and we also propose a selection of the best pieces of renowned brands.

The area
Neighbourhood: Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
