Friendly, professional staff - but better signage is needed outside

We knew from our advance research that parking was virtually nonexistent at this arena, which sits in the heart of the downtown, so we opted for an Uber from our hotel. Once we arrived there was a large festival-type area and a park where we could buy merch, eat, and just relax before the gates opened. Once they did, we were completely lost. There were no signs whatsoever telling us where to go or which line to get in. The locals certainly knew but we didn’t, and we didn’t speak the language. I eventually was able to get close to one of the gentlemen scanning tickets and asked where we should go, and he stopped what he was doing and directed us to the correct line. Once our line finally made it to the ticket scanners, we realized that people in the wrong line were not being allowed in via those entrances. We knew then how lucky we were that we’d been directed to the correct one, especially since it took over 30 minutes from the time the doors opened until we entered the arena. The opening act was already onstage. Security was much tighter here than the previous night when we attended another show at a different arena and it slowed down the entrance process tremendously. The doors should be opened much sooner than they were and many fans missed the opening act. However, once inside, all went smoothly. An usher brought us directly to our seats and, despite many fans attempting to sneak to the area in front of the stage, security would not allow them to do so. This is the way it should be and we were glad they were enforcing the rules. Other than the lack of signage outside, there wasn’t much to dislike. The sound was terrific and we truly had a wonderful time. Despite the language barrier, the workers inside – ushers and vendors – were all very helpful. We felt safe and appreciated the professionalism of the staff.

I was my first concert in an arena and I really loved it. The square outside, with grass and trees was a good place to wait for the ates to open. Inside, it was well climatized so it was neither hot or cold. From the ground, where my seat was I had a good view of both stages.

My wife and I spent some time in this place for a concert and we were happily surprised about either the organization and the acoustics of this indoor stadium.

A beautiful hall with good light, great scene and plenty of big screens so everyone saw what was happening on stage.

Excellent organisation for a concert
Jan 2017
This was one of the most organised concert venues I have ever visited. The staff handled the line and crowds and entering the venue in an excellent manner. Five stars!

Concert venue
Feb 2016 • Friends
I went to the Jovanotti concert here. It appears to be chaotic with fencing all around and little signage to direct crowds to the right entrance/exit but with a little patience it is possible to get where you need to be. I was on the 'floor' for the concert so I was pleased with the staging that extended far into the crowd and brought Jovanotti very close to us. The facility is fairly stark, go for the entertainment not the location.

Great venue for U2 concert
Sep 2015 • Couples
Venue was clean and organized well. VIP staff was friendly. We had excellent seats (front row, section 107) but it seemed like every seat in the place was probably good. It felt like a small venue, as capacity with concert setup is around 18,000.

Great Venue
Sep 2015 • Couples
Just attended the U2 concert at this arena and I was very impressed with the staff and the venue. I cannot comment on the parking as I took a Taxi but it was an easy drop off and pick up without crazy lines and pushing that is often typical at concerts.
