Something a little different.

I loved the beautiful lace old fashioned dresses and shoes. The classic pumps from then are still actual today. The displays show womens fashion development and more.....

Well worth a visit if you are out and about in Meran. Full of interesting artifacts, old clothes and good stories! We've really enjoyed the visit and the opportunity to cool down from the scorching sun.

This is a small museum on the site of an old convent .it's upstairs but there is a lift and I recommend using it. The lady in charge was so helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit of this unusual museum covering aspects of women's lives. Free entry if you are over 60.

Very disappointed in the lack of depth and almost trivialisation of women's history as depicted in this museum. Seemed to focus more on fashion, hair and a few domestic chores, rather than address the role women have had in shaping our world. And for 4.5€, it just wasn't worth the 30 minutes we spent there.

This is a small, well-designed museum about the history of women, particularly in the last century, which is based on the collection of one woman. There is a commentary in English so that, although not all the information is translated, English speakers should be able to get a good overview. It's well worth spending an hour or two here -...
