Students had just finished their term, but they were very well behaved. The Piazza was full of happy young people which made the visitor feel festive.

Gorgeous square, with Palazzo Pretorio, Cattedrale di San Vigilio, numerous important buildings with some painted different colours, some with arches, some with frescoes, as well as restaurants and bars.

I like history. Medieval age, plus minus couple of centuries. And this place is just right! Especially during Christmas time, when it is just spectacular (no need for words, look photos) It is crowded in nice way - you can feel the holidays!

Hi, my daughter and I are in Verona the 2nd week of January 2016 and were planning on a few day outings...would a daytrip by train to Trento be worthwhile? is there enough to do and see for a whole day? Or would Bolzana be a better bet? thanks in advance for any advice?
