An unbelievable chapel. If you have to adjust your schedule in Padua to see the Scrovegni Chapel do it. Make arrangements in advance and adjust the rest of your schedule around your visit there. This is a tightly run ship. If you miss your appointment,...More

We visited the Chapel last August. You need to get free reservations and it is recommended that you pick them up in advance (in a different location than the chapel)of your time slot. You are limited to 15 minutes .We spent most of it taking...More

Have to see place, if you visit Padova. Buy ticket online before you come or come over to ticket office to reserve visit for next days. Very recommended

Paintings inside of the Chapel are absolutely beautyful. Don’t miss to visit the nearby museum which has some nice peaces to see.

Even in a country not short of great art, this must be one of the most important and impressive sites in Italy. An entire chapel decorated in fresco by Giotto in remarkably good condition, considering its age and the history of the building. It may...More

This chapel should be on every art lover's bucket list, it really is unique. Dating from 1305, the frescoes which decorate every wall are the work of Giotto, and are in remarkable condition. Their realism and storytelling is unprecedented for the period, and influenced generations...More

That's how I've booked my tickets. For those who say it isn't worth it, it depends on what you value. If you value astonishingly beautiful art, preserved for centuries, it might be worth it to you. It certainly was and... More
