Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

5,015 reviews
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.

Several places to have some food and watch the passers-by. Evenings are the best time to enjoy. Shopping on two adjoining streets.

The Italians respect their history. This statue commemorates one of the three key revolutionaries of the Italian revolution of 1848. Fittingly, on occasions free tours by La Bussola (the compass) start from this location. They are a great organisation run by volunteers to share their passion for the place. So go on their website and book the highlight of your trip in the form of fun, a 2-3 hour walk and culture all for the price of your donation at the end.
