Learn to row like a Venetian-standing, facing forward, just like the gondoliers-in a beautiful, traditional Venetian all-wood gondolina batella coda di gambero. See Venice from a unique, authentic perspective in this unique outing: you can't row Venice if you haven't rowed Venice.

What fun! We did the whole lesson/cicchetto tour and had such a memorably good time. My husband was a happier rower than I - though I was happy enough to watch him and glad to have given it a try. Our coach was Lisa, who...More

I cannot recommend Row Venice enough. My friend and I went rowing today and had the most amazing experience with Valentina and Elena. They were so friendly and helped my friend and I not fall out of our gondola. This is such a cool, unique...More

Four of us were on board for an evening rowing lesson/cicchetto tour, and loved it. We began with a stroll through the city to the picturesque marina area - not hard to find at all. Our instructor, Lisa, was a native English speaker, so no...More

When you think Venice you think Gondola rides! Amazing experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even to our requests for pictures. I only wish it was longer!

Very glad I read these reviews and booked!! This was the highlight of our trip, very fun and much better value for money than a gondola. Gabriella our guide was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I decided to do this instead of paying for a gondola ride. It was a lot of fun! We learned how to both row and steer the gondala and both got plenty of opportunities to practice. Our instructor Regina and her translator...More

Lovely row instructor who was friendly and relaxed and basically let you do as much or as little rowing as you like. You get to go through quiet canals then out into the open sea and then back through some beautiful smaller canals. It's fun...More

This was absolutely brilliant. We are two female friends (60 and 63) and thought it sounded fun! It was. So...you are never too old. The instructors/translators were excellent, put us at ease, gave us a preliminary talk, practise time, then off we all went. An...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
