Learn to row like a Venetian-standing, facing forward, just like the gondoliers-in a beautiful, traditional Venetian all-wood gondolina batella coda di gambero. See Venice from a unique, authentic perspective in this unique outing: you can't row Venice if you haven't rowed Venice.

Loved our rowing lesson with Gulia! Our 2 boys (ages 14 and 11) said this was one of their favorite activities during our whole week long tour of Italy. Really fun for the whole family, definitely recommend!

After a week in Venice our favorite memories are respectively walking through the streets of Accademia and rowing through Venice; ok Cristina did most of the rowing ;) Both Cristina and Angela were the perfect instructors and guides. Angela was insightful and gave us some...More

We had a great time trying out Venetian-style rowing. It's harder than it looks but a lot of fun! This was an excellent way to spend some time on the water.

Highly recommended. Thoroughly enjoyed a 90 minute lesson with Sophia. A very patient and friendly instructor. A fun and different way to experience the canals of this beautiful city. Worked up an appetite for lunch and Sophia’s recommendation of the Trattoria Alle Due Gondolette hit...More

This was the highlight of our week in Venice! We were a little reluctant - we're not young, but all the reviewers loved it - so we decided to give it a try. Nan was so fun, encouraging and knowledgeable about not only rowing, but...More

We did this trip with our boys having done some research and can honestly say that we were not disappointed. It was absolutely brilliant fun. Rowing through the canals with our youngest boy shouting "oii" made us all laugh and our children really got stuck...More

This is a rowing lesson with expert women rowers using very stable boats. We started out on a quiet side canal but made our way out into a larger canal so it was thrilling. Our instructor, Sophia, was very professional and we felt perfectly safe....More

Lovely tour (and workout) with Christina and Angelina. It's spectaculair to row (your self) in a beautiful gondola in the dark on Canal Grande. Friendly tour gides, leaving us with a big smile on the dock of the bay at the end of the tour.

The guides provide several layers of wet suits from nose to toes. I would contact them and ask but I doubt it will be a problem.
