You can spend hours here skimming through books or sit by the canal and read. Such a beautiful concept! If you are in Venice, this is a must visit. I recommend taking some time off sightseeing and just spending a couple of hours here. It...More

I'm not going to lie, but I came here for the stair picture. The store and staircase did not disappoint. I got a great picture and loved the experience of the store. Once you climb up you do see a wonderful view. Inside it's a...More

Interesting for 5 minutes and then overwhelming. Not sure I'd know how to decide what to buy, if anything.

I loved the bookshop and bought this charming novella about a Venetian Countess who lived in the 1800's ... which brought me right back to the book shop! A must read and a great gift for people back home...

For boolkovers a real paradise, with a superb view to the canal and Venise by famous chairs; wonderful books, antique and modern and at a good price; hope that "Acqua Alta" is not coming again.

One of the most charming and eccentric bookstores I've ever visited. New and used books by the boatload (literally!) Good place to buy postcards, bookmarks, etc. as well. Also has a bookstore cat.

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals
criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a

Whenever I have been there during the day it has been open, so 09.00 (maybe 10.00) to 18.00 is usual. Even Sunday I think. Regards
