This experience was amazing. We agreed on €100 for 45 minutes and this was delivered. I explained which landmarks we would like to see, and pretty much customised my tour. It was an amazing experience of Venice in sunny weather. The gondolier showed us every important palace we passed, who lived there, stopped to show us up-to where the water rose in the floods they had etc. Otherwise he was singing, and to me this is an authentic Venice experience. Venice is a truly wonderful place to visit, we took boat ride into Venice from bus parking then the gondola ride. The rower was an expert at keeping the boat calm and away from the other boats in the busy canals. It was amazing to see how close he could come to boats and buildings. He whistled tunes to try to compete with another gondola that had a guitar player and a singer in it. It was a very memorable trip for my wife and I. The weather was fine which helped. Walking thru Venice was a true memory for us both, and this gondola ride is a must.…

Met Alex at our designated spot and walked the short distance to his Gondola. On arrival we had a bottle of Prosecco and started out on our first Gondola cruise. When you approach 40 gondolas, you can’t really tell which company you are going with! I paid 90€ for one person, IN THE RAIN, but it’s off the bucket list, lol.Ask a lot of questions!
