You can buy them at the spot where the gondolas are, its cheaper.

We booked ahead..we knew we were there on a Monday so booked it for mid day..go on trip advisor and type in lucky Luca to get the guys e-mail...he is absolutely the best..he'll take you to the quieter canals and even sings... More
