It was excellent and memorable walking tour in Venice. The tour guide Fred was amazing and highly knowledgeable. He provided us the information that couldn’t otherwise be available for a short time visitor like me. I thoroughly enjoyed and strongly recommend it to all

MariaLaura was wonderful. Unfortunately it was a cold windy day for our tour, but her cheer never wavered and made our tour very enjoyable. She gave us some great local tips about what to eat too! The map they give you is excellent. Please remember...More

A great tour away from the crowds in northern Venice. Elena was a great guide with an obvious passion for Venice and its’ history. A great way to spend 2.5 hours without any pressure to pay.

We were lucky and unlucky: terrible weather (rain, wind, cold) but that meant a small group. The tour was a bit over 2 1/2 hours and - thankfully - included a hot drink stop. We took the 9am tour with Elena around Cannaregio. She was...More

Free walking tours are the best way to discover a city and its secrets (Rosso Tizziano, Ponte delle Tette🤪) and this one, leaving Campo della Fava, was one of the best ever, thanks to our learned, interesting and funny guide Frederico! Most recommended👍🏻

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Go to venicefreewalkingtour . com and there you will find a link to book. You will be in a large tour group of about 25 people so you cannot select places to see.
