An outstanding tour. Avoided the busy areas. Filled with nuggets of information about Venice. A 2 hour tour de force of Castello, Sao Paolo and Sante Croce. Can't recommend Maria more highly; full of passion about the city and sustainable tourism.

Not exactly free- more pay what you feel it is worth. But we were more than happy to pay - put Venice ( history, architecture, tourism etc) in context. Very pleasant guide, Simona. Highly recommended.

On our first morning in Venice we joined a walk which was led by a lovely guide called Loris. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot and seen so much of Venice in a morning. I thoroughly recommend doing this walk.

This was an absolutely amazing guided visit. Surprisingly, we were the only ones taking the tour, so it was possible to talk a lot and learn even more. The guide was incredible and I strongly recommend taking this one! You will not be disappointed

I didn’t only have an unforgettable tour but also found good friends. While studying and living in Venice I had a lot of questions and Nico gave the answers and told very interesting stories.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
