You will like this Piazza because it is not as noisy as some. There are wonderful buildings to photograph and of course there is the stsatue of Dante Alighieri which makes some of the locals call it Piazza Dante.

Lovely little piazza dominated by large statue of Dante. Great architecture all around, with some of the greatest finds of Verona located here.

So this has a great variety to see. The big tower, Dante's statue ( he was exiled here) the city offices and some seventeenth century palaces. good cafes as well. worth having binoculars for the detail.

Rather small but very very beautiful piazza. A lot of people here. You can see the Italian culture in a nutshell in this place.

One of the joys of Verona is its piazzas and this is one of its best. Sit in a cafe and drink a spritz and watch the world go by

Dantes statue, a real palace of the lords of verona, the house of the judges in ancient times and the judges domain (tower). What an extraordinary square - best seen with a guide so you know what you're looking at - the history is out...More
