Get the four churches combined ticket for €6. Go to see this. It is as unusual as it is interesting and prayerful. See it. The four main churches are all in walking distance of each other.

I hadn't realised that Verona would have such a wonderful trail of Romanesque churches. This is awesome! When the oldest artwork in the church (apart from a poingant 20th century crucifixion meditation in the crypt) is Renaissance, you're onto a winner. From the richly carved,...More

Beautiful church & very interesting audio commentary, well worth a visit. We liked it more than the duomo

Marvelous place specially the bronze doors and the marmor statue of a smiling S. Zeno. A must visit. To take away the phone to the person selling tickets will be quite an improvement, being in Verona she was surely talking to her Romeo

A short walk from the city centre, set in a sweet little piazza, San Zeno Maggiore is well worth a visit. From the incredible bronze doors to the beautiful frescos and not forgetting the atmospheric crypt. Gorgeous.

It took 6 years to clean the painted ceiling which looks fantastic, a marval of a church, a must to visit

Worth the walk out of the way from the main attractions. We loved the cute little courtyard and beautiful details inside.

Worth the walk to see this impressive basilica. Full of wonderful frescoes (some even with Monks graffitti, hundreds of years old). Audio guide is very helpful. Spend some time studying the pair of bronze doors which are amazing works of art.

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
