A combined ticket with Torre dei Lamberti gets you in to the Galleria at €5 (reduced). Not a huge gallery and quite a manageable visit. Open space with paintings and sculpture and also the Chapel of Notaries ( a wedding was due in there as we went round and a harp/violin duet were practising Pachalbel's Canon, very nice ). Not... A disappointing experience. I arrived to see the Picasso exhibit and was informed that photos were permitted 'with phone only'. Why? Who cares if the photo is taken with a camera or a phone. A photo is a photo is a photo. Most art museums (understandably) prohibit 'flash photos', but in the hundreds of art museums and galleries I have... More

This gallery mixes old masters and religious artwork with modern art and it does clash a bit in my opinion but that doesn't mean you won't love it. I felt the standard of modern work was not the best, but that is only an opinion and art is full of those, mostly different. The building the art is housed in... More

I've never been particularly interested in modern art (impressionism excepted) so wasn't sure if I'd even go in here, which was part of the ticket we had for going up the Torre dei Lamberti. My partner persuaded me to go and I'm very glad he did. The exhibits focus on Italian and in particular, Veronese artists since the 1840's. There... More

This is full of Italian art and sculptures from 14th century onwards. There are some very nice older pieces here and there are also some very good modern abstracts as well. Bags are not allowed in and have to be stored in a locker area to the side of the entrance. Toilets on site.

We discovered this museum accidentally because entry was included with our tickets to climb the tower. In the end, we spent more than twice as much time in the museum than we did in the tower. It is superbly done with some brilliant art and excellent information about the building and art works. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent museum of contemporary art. It focuses on only Italian artist. It is a great way to explore many Italian artist that have been overlooked in the larger world museums. The building itself is worth the visit alone. It is a stunning building with deep history. Buy a VeronaPass and it makes this much more economical. We... More

Good to go on a rainy day, lovely structure and few stone sculptures to see. Just nice to walk around and see Verona from different angles.

If you are and opera buff do not miss the Maria Callas exhibition. The highlight was the headphones set where Maria was singing aria after aria whilst walking round the individual rooms. Maria was and exceptional singer and she transports you to another world. Took about 1-1 1/2 to look and listen to everything. Well worth the money 13 euros... More

We were going to look in this gallery, as we had Verona cards. We only had small bags, but were asked to leave them in a locker. We didn't feel like leaving our passports, money etc behind, so left. You can take small bags into some of the worlds best museums, so am not sure why this one wouldn't let... More
